Advancing Inclusion Student Scholarship

Women and nonbinary individuals who are undergraduate students, graduate students, or post-doctoral students gain free access to year-round AnitaB.org India membership & its perks; along with year-round access to career and academic workshops, networking opportunities, and inspirational role models, as well as the opportunity to earn complimentary in-person registration to Grace Hopper Celebration India 24.

Program Expectations

  • Participate in all pre and post -GHCI 24 Advancing Inclusion Scholars events
  • Attend at least 3 AnitaB.org India Membership events throughout the year
  • Attend at least 3 sessions at Grace Hopper Celebration India
  • Participation in all AnitaB.org India evaluation surveys
  • Consistent communication with program staff and cohort members

Eligibility

  • You must be a student enrolled in an accredited degree program at a college or university at the time of the celebration November 20-22, 2024.). Those graduating from a higher education institution are eligible if there is proof of acceptance to another degree program (such as but not limited to: M.A., M.S., PhD)  by the start of GHCI.
  • Show satisfactory progress toward a degree such as computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, human-computer interaction, math, physics, or management information systems.
  • Students will be required to provide proof of academic affiliation when registering for the Grace Hopper Celebration India.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age at the time of the celebration on November 20-22, 2024.
  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5

If you receive an Advancing Inclusion Student Scholarship and do not notify AnitaB.org India that you cannot attend the Celebration, you will not be eligible in future years as this takes an opportunity away from another individual who could have attended.

We will contact you if these laws and regulations affect your complimentary registration/grant or if we require more information to make such a decision.
