AnitaB.Org India Hyderabad Chapter was started in 2016 by Women technologists passionate to build a strong community in Hyderabad. Since then, we have done various programs and helped build a community, to network, socialize and exchange thoughts on various technologies. Various companies like Microsoft, CA Technologies, Wells Fargo, Qualcomm, etc have hosted the Chapter meetings, networking, and impactful technology sessions. In 2020 due to the pandemic, we have done virtual gatherings with the same energy and fervour. Our team of volunteers is all rock stars and very dedicated to bringing women technologists and helping build a community of like-minded people.
Our 2019 HopperX1 event was by far the largest event with close to 700+ women technologists attending the 1-day event. It was a day of inspirational stories, leadership discussions, lightning talks on emerging technologies, deep conversations on cloud and data, and a workshop on API building. Buzzing with activity, powered by the enthusiasm from the crowd, the energy throughout the day was palpable. I spoke to various participants and got positive feedback for all the sessions.
