AnitaB.Org India Delhi-NCR Chapter
The Delhi NCR chapter was brought to life again in 2019 with a wonderful team of energetic & enthusiastic team of volunteers as the team wanted to give it back to society. Within 2 years of its initiation conducted 10 sessions which included participation in a hopper event organized by AnitaB.org India. Last year due to the pandemic hit everything went virtual so a couple of sessions were conducted virtually. Some of the interesting & challenging talks on topics- COVID 19 crisis & digital speed, Innovative Strategies- Harnessing new opportunities from Data, Putting Delhi-NCR back in the game, AnitaB.org India starting career- personal stories, GHCI- poster stories & many more topics with diverse speakers from IBM, SheWork, Accenture, Amex, Fidelity & CitiBank connecting with various academia alongside.
Shikha Munjal
Shikha Munjal is Associate Director for India Technology at Fidelity. Being a technologist at heart and a product champion; she is passionate about solving business problems using well-engineered solutions via the use of emerging technology. She believes in taking data-driven decisions than gut feel-based decisions & has been instrumental in re-factoring various legacy Investment management applications & transformed them into more robust, scalable & performant products.
Shikha has around 18 years of experience in the Investment Management and Technology industry during which she has grown from a developer to a technologist & now a product owner. In her 10 years tenure at Fidelity International, she has been instrumental in key technical deliveries across asset classes for research, portfolio construction & management. She has participated in NASSCOM organized code-a-thon & was among the first 7 teams, participated in the Women's web competition & was nominated for Growth Champion in 2020, and worked with 3 NGO partners to automate their Donation Management process. She has delivered various talks at community events in Delhi NCR, colleges & universities. She's a passionate proponent of diversity and pays forward, leading the Delhi NCR chapter as a core member.
